Debt Management...

Well firstly, a debt management plan isn't another loan. In simple terms, it's an arrangement where you make one payment a month into your plan and this is then shared out with your creditors. We negotiate to get lenders to accept fixed payments and reduce or freeze interest on your account.

IVA's...

An Individual Voluntary Arrangement, or IVA, is a legally-binding agreement between you and your creditors. Due to the formal nature of the agreement, it has to be set up by a specialist known as an Insolvency Practitioner. Under an IVA, you make one monthly reduced payment to the Insolvency Practitioner and he distributes this to your creditors.

Bankruptcy...

Bankruptcy is a legal process where you are declared insolvent when you cannot pay your creditors. Your assets are transferred into a trust which is supervised by a trustee. The role of the trustee is taken by the Official Receiver or an Insolvency Practitioner. The trustee will investigate your financial situation such as your income and outgoings as well as what assets you hold.
